Our Year 1 class had lots of fun practising their Stage 1 tricky words last week with Tricky Trevor!
The teacher invented some new games in addition to what's in the handbook. Our favourite was the large space game played in the hall. Each child had their own dice, whiteboard and pen. They had to roll the dice and go to that number of cones and write down the tricky word on each one. They then had to go to Tricky Trevor and they won a point for each word they could read! They then rolled the dice again and again! A fun and really effective game to play with a large group.
